I want an Android app that lets me jot down every Forex position I take during the day and instantly shows whether I closed it in profit or loss. The flow should be as quick as opening the app, tapping “Add Trade”, entering the pair, lot size, open and close price, then saving—nothing bloated or confusing.
Core behaviour
• Each trade is stored with its profit-or-loss figure.
• The moment a trade is saved, that P/L appears right on the trade row so I can scan the day’s list and see how I did, trade by trade.
• A clean, modern Material-style UI that looks native on recent Android versions.
I’m not after heavy analytics or alerting systems yet; the priority is reliable trade logging and a clear per-trade profit/loss display. Data can sit locally in Room/SQLite for now, provided the code is structured so cloud sync could be added later.
Deliverables
• Full Android Studio project and well-commented Kotlin (or Java) source.
• Signed release APK ready to install.
• Brief README explaining how to build, run, and where trade data is stored.
I’ll test by entering a handful of dummy trades and confirming the profit/loss math is accurate to two decimals and the list updates instantly without crashes.
