I need help verifying how my Android app behaves when it just sits in a user’s pocket. The focus is narrow: measure and document idle state battery drain. To do this properly you’ll sign in with several different Gmail accounts (the app offers account-based personalisation), leave the app installed on one or more physical Android phones, and capture how much power it quietly consumes over set time windows.

Here’s what I’m expecting from you:

• A clear test plan that shows the steps you’ll take to track idle consumption (e.g., using Android Battery Historian, adb shell dumpsys batterystats, or similar tools).
• Screenshots, raw logs, and a concise written summary that spotlights any abnormal drain compared to baseline device usage.
• Notes on whether the drain changes when different Gmail profiles are active.
• Practical recommendations if you spot inefficiencies.

No UI walkthroughs or security audits are required—just the battery-usage angle. Devices running Android 10 or newer are fine; real hardware only, please, not emulators. If this sounds straightforward, let’s get started and see how my app stacks up when it should be doing almost nothing.
