Android Auto-Play Ad App

I’m building a lightweight mobile application that will run exclusively on Android phones and tablets and continuously showcase video advertisements without any user intervention. The moment the app launches it should start playing an MP4 ad in full-screen, and as soon as that clip reaches the end the next one in the local (or remote) queue must begin automatically. Viewers are not allowed to skip or fast-forward, so all standard playback controls need to be hidden or disabled.

A clean, minimal interface is important—essentially just the video canvas plus a discreet admin area or config file where I can update the list of ad files or URLs. Reliability matters more than flashy visuals; please focus on smooth looping, efficient buffering, and graceful handling of network hiccups if the ads are streamed.

Before hand-off, run thorough device and emulator tests to confirm:
• Autoplay triggers immediately on start-up
• Sequential playback works indefinitely without memory leaks
• Only MP4 format is accepted; unsupported files are ignored with a clear log message
• No skip buttons or gestures interrupt playback
• App installs and uninstalls cleanly on current Android OS versions

Deliverables:

2. Signed APK (debug is fine for testing)
