Android App Update and Refinement

I need my existing Android mobile application refreshed so it runs smoothly on today’s phone models. This is strictly an update project—no full rebuild—so you’ll be working with the current codebase.

What I expect:
• Analyse the present Android project, migrate it to the latest stable SDK, and resolve any deprecated APIs that affect phone performance.
• Update layouts and resources so screens scale properly across modern resolutions and aspect ratios.
• Eliminate crashes or warnings flagged by Android Studio and the Play Console, delivering a clean release-ready AAB/APK.
• Push all changes to my Git repository with clear commit messages.

Acceptance criteria
1. The new build installs and functions without crashes on Android 8.0 through the latest release.
2. Google Play pre-launch report shows no critical or high-severity issues.
3. Source compiles with zero lint errors.

I will provide the existing source, assets, and a quick walkthrough video once we lock timelines. Feel free to recommend additional tweaks after you review the project.
