Analyze Outdoor Fireplace Footer Proposal

I am looking to add a full masonry outdoor fireplace to my patio this fall with hopes to build a roof over the patio in the spring. I have a mason who has proposed a fireplace and footer which I made a rendering of in SketchUp. It will be built with CMUs and firebrick and the dimensions are listed. The rendering does not show the stone that will cover it, which will be about 3" thick. I estimate the weight to be around 38,000 pounds. His proposed footer is also in the design, and he said it will have one piece of #5 rebar in each pier going up to the rectangular pad, and the pad will have 4-6 pieces running the length of the pad and 8-12 across the width.

I am looking for an engineer to analyze this plan and propose any needed changes. The project is located in 60491.
