You will partner with telecommunications carriers, finance, procurement, network services, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate telecom records, optimize costs, and maximize the value of telecommunications investments. What you'll do on a typical day:
Support the financial management and administration of telecommunications services across the organization
Review, validate, and process telecommunications invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements and pricing structures
Manage telecom inventory records and maintain accurate asset, circuit, and service documentation
Investigate, reconcile, and resolve carrier billing discrepancies in a timely manner
Serve as a liaison between telecommunications carriers, finance, procurement, network services, and business stakeholders
Maintain accurate telecom expense and inventory records to support financial reporting and operational decision-making
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and increased visibility into telecommunications spending
Support audits, service transitions, sourcing initiatives, and vendor reviews related to telecommunications operations
Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions and time zones to support business and operational requirements
Assist in ensuring vendor compliance with contractual agreements and service-level expectations
Analyze telecom spending trends and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs
What you need to succeed:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience
1+ years of experience managing telecommunications expenses, billing, inventory, or vendor relationships
Knowledge of telecom invoicing, expense management, and telecommunications service lifecycle administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies
Experience working with financial data, reporting, and expense analysis
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business reporting tools
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
It'd be great if you also have:
Experience supporting global telecommunications environments
Knowledge of telecommunications contracts, sourcing activities, and vendor management practices
Experience with Telecom Expense Management (TEM) platforms or similar tools
Familiarity with network services and telecommunications technologies
Experience supporting audits, compliance initiatives, and financial reviews
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment while managing multiple priorities
Experience analyzing spending trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities
