Amazon eBook Manuscript Formatting

I’m preparing my fiction manuscript for Kindle Direct Publishing and need it transformed from its current DOCX file into a clean, fully-compliant Amazon eBook. The book already reads well; what I’m missing is professional formatting.

Here’s what I need you to do:
• Apply consistent chapter headings so each section appears in the Kindle navigation and a clickable table of contents generates correctly.
• Use standard indented paragraphs throughout—no block style, no extra line breaks.
• Build or adjust all front- and back-matter (title page, copyright, acknowledgements, about the author).
• Embed basic metadata and ensure the file passes Amazon’s validation tools.
• Deliver both an upload-ready EPUB (or KPF) and a cleaned-up DOCX for my records.

No custom fonts are required; I just want the layout to look natural across devices, without strange spacing or orphan lines. I’ll preview the file with Kindle Previewer, so everything must reflow smoothly.
