This project centres on turning a simple two-layer board into a robust controller for an item of industrial equipment. The heart of the design is a PIC microcontroller; no other specialised ICs are planned beyond the usual power-conditioning, crystal, and interface support you would expect around that chip.

I will supply the functional block diagram and key electrical constraints. From there I need you to capture the schematic in Altium Designer, select footprints that suit automated assembly, and route a clean 2-layer layout that respects industrial noise and reliability demands (keep-outs near high-current paths, solid ground reference, generous test points).

Deliverables
• Altium project folder (schematic, PCB, libraries)
• Fabrication outputs: Gerbers, drill files, pick-and-place, PDF plots
• Readable BOM with manufacturer part numbers
• Brief design note highlighting any critical layout decisions

I’ll review the native Altium files and the Gerbers on my end; once they open without errors and the checklist above is met the job is complete.
