I’m building a single cloud solution that lets U.S.-based and foreign entities seamlessly calculate, file, and strategize their taxes. The first release must satisfy the needs of large corporations—complex, multi-state operations with consolidated returns—while remaining expandable to individuals and small businesses later on.

Scope of work
• Develop calculation engines for income, property, and sales tax that stay current with IRS and state rules.
• Integrate e-file workflows that generate ready-to-submit federal and state forms.
• Add real-time advisory features: scenario modeling, credit optimization, and audit-trail reporting.
• Provide role-based dashboards, multi-entity management, and SOC-2-ready security.

Preferred tech (open to suggestions)
React/Next.js front end, Python or Node micro-services, PostgreSQL, AWS, plus integration with the IRS Modernized e-File (MeF) API or similar tax SDKs.

Key deliverables
1. Technical architecture and data model
2. Clickable UI prototype
3. MVP with automated tests
4. Deployment scripts and CI/CD pipeline
5. Documentation and final hand-off

Acceptance criteria
• Accurate 2023-24 calculations for federal and at least two pilot states across income, sales, and property taxes.
• Successful end-to-end e-file in a sandbox environment.
• Advisory module delivers savings scenarios within 2 % of CPA-verified models.
• Codebase meets OWASP Top 10, GDPR/CCPA, and SOC-2 controls.

If you’ve launched fintech or reg-tech platforms that process high-volume financial data, share your approach and timeline. Together, we’ll turn this into the next billion-dollar tax solution.
