Video Editor – SFW & NSFW Creator Content
About the Project
We are looking for an experienced freelance video editor to support an ongoing creator-content project.
The content portfolio includes both SFW and NSFW material, covering different formats such as lifestyle, travel, fitness, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, entertainment, and other creator productions.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with both types of content and can maintain a consistently professional editing standard regardless of the subject matter.
This is intended to become a long-term collaboration for the right editor.
Role & Responsibilities
The main responsibility will be to transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos for different platforms and purposes.
Typical projects may include:
Long-Form Editing
Edit approximately 30–40 minutes of raw footage into a polished final video, typically around 20–30 minutes, depending on the content.
Editing may include:
• Selecting the strongest footage
• Removing unnecessary sections, mistakes, and pauses
• Improving pacing and storytelling
• Audio cleanup and enhancement
• Colour correction
• Transitions where appropriate
• Music and sound effects where appropriate
• Text and graphics
Teaser / Highlight Videos
From longer recordings, create an engaging 5–10-minute teaser/highlight video designed to generate interest in the full production.
The teaser should:
• Have a strong opening
• Maintain good pacing
• Select the most interesting moments
• Create curiosity without giving away the entire video
• Feel like a professionally produced standalone piece
Short-Form Content
Where appropriate, extract shorter clips from the original footage for:
• Instagram
• YouTube Shorts
• X
• Other social media platforms
Typical clips may be 30–90 seconds, depending on the content and platform.
Content Types
The projects may include both SFW and NSFW material and can cover:
• Lifestyle
• Travel
• Fitness & wellness
• Behind-the-scenes
• Interviews

We're looking for an editor who understands storytelling and audience retention, rather than simply cutting footage together.
Important qualities include:
• Strong sense of pacing
• Good storytelling ability
• Attention to detail
• Creative editing
• Understanding of audience retention
• Ability to identify the strongest moments in raw footage
• Consistent quality
• Reliability and meeting deadlines
• Ability to work independently
Software
Experience with professional editing software such as:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• DaVinci Resolve
• Final Cut Pro
• After Effects
• CapCut Pro
Example Project
Input:
30–40 minutes of raw footage
Potential deliverables:
• 1 × Full edited video – approximately 20–30 minutes
• 1 × 5–10 minute teaser
• 3–5 × short-form clips
Confidentiality
Because some projects may contain private or sensitive material, confidentiality is extremely important.
The editor must:
• Keep all supplied footage confidential
• Not share, publish, or distribute material
• Not use footage in a portfolio without explicit permission
• Securely store project files
• Delete or return source material when requested
A confidentiality/NDA agreement may be required.

• Pacing
• Editing quality
• Creativity
• Understanding of the source material
• Ability to create a compelling teaser
• Turnaround time
Successful completion could lead to regular monthly projects and a long-term collaboration.
Pricing
Please provide either:
• Price per 30-minute finished video
• Price for a 5–10 minute teaser
• Price per short-form clip
or alternatively:
• Hourly rate
• Monthly retainer
