I have a full set of architectural drawings and an accompanying geotechnical report for a single-family residence on the Alabama Gulf Coast. The soil data confirms that a pile-supported foundation is required, and the chosen solution is driven timber piles. I now need a structural engineer who is currently licensed in the State of Alabama and comfortable designing in our coastal wind zone to convert these documents into a permit-ready structural package.

The scope covers every structural element from the driven timber piles up through the roof frame. That includes pile layout and design, lateral and uplift resistance, floor and roof framing plans, connection details, member sizing, schedules, notes, and all wind-load checks in accordance with the latest IBC, ASCE 7, and Alabama Residential Code. Please make sure the drawings are sealed for submission to both the local building department and my lender.

Deliverables expected:
• Sealed structural drawings (PDF + DWG)
• Calculations package highlighting wind, gravity, and lateral checks
• Pile schedule with embedment depths, tips, and connection hardware
• Detail sheets for all critical connections and bracing
• Any coordination notes needed for my architect and builder

The architectural set and the geo report will be released immediately upon award so you can begin modeling and analysis right away.
