Airport Planning & Environmental Consultant

AlphaGov is engaging an Airport Planning & Environmental Consultant for current municipal work. A general aviation airport needs airport planning and/or environmental consulting for its Airport Capital Improvement Plan.
We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.
What you'll do

Prepare and update Airport Capital Improvement Plans and airport layout plan inputs

Support FAA/state AIP grant planning and justification

Lead NEPA environmental documentation for airport projects

Coordinate with FAA ADO and state aviation offices

Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Requirements
Required

At least 5 years of professional experience in airport planning or airport environmental work

Working knowledge of FAA AIP, ACIP, ALP, and NEPA (FAA Order 1050.1F)

Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant

Nice to have

General aviation airport experience in the Southeast

- PE or AICP
- GIS skills
