I run my day-to-day operations on a Laravel + MySQL ERP that already manages customers, invoices, quotations and every other record I need. What slows me down is typing. I want to speak.
Here’s the workflow I’m after:
• I dial a dedicated number, the AI greets me, and I speak the details.
• The assistant repeats each field back to me for confirmation right there on the call—no texts or emails.
• Once I say “yes”, the bot writes directly into my existing tables.
Scope of data the bot must handle:
– Customer information
– Invoices and payments
– Work proposals and quotations
Core requirements
• Seamless integration with my current Laravel codebase and MySQL schema (I will give you repository access and schema docs).
• Reliable voice calling interface—Twilio, Plivo, or a similar PSTN/SIP gateway is fine as long as call quality is solid in India.
• Speech-to-text and NLU that recognises English and Hindi accurately, then maps phrases to the correct columns.
• Secure API layer or service class so future modules can reuse the same voice logic.
• Error handling: if a field is missing or misunderstood, the bot must ask again instead of writing bad data.
• Logging of every interaction for audit purposes.
Deliverable
A fully tested pull request into my Laravel project plus a short video demo showing a live phone call that creates each of the three record types above. I will validate by checking the database and call logs.
If you have built IVR, Twilio, Dialogflow CX, or any speech-driven data entry tools before, this should be straightforward; if not, please outline your approach so I can see you’re thinking through the edge cases.
