# Seeking an AI Video Editor for a Kids' Educational Video Series
## Project Overview
I'm hiring a reliable AI-savvy video editor to help produce a part educational series for children**. All scripts, branding elements, creative decisions, and workflow steps are already finalized — your job is to execute the production using AI tools and editing software.
This role is focused purely on **production**, not on writing or concept design.
## What You'll Be Doing
Working from the materials I supply, you will:
* Generate voiceovers using **ElevenLabs**.
* Produce illustrations with **Midjourney, Leonardo AI, or a comparable tool**.
* Assemble each episode in **CapCut** (or a similar app), incorporating gentle motion effects like Ken Burns panning/zooming.
* Layer in music and sound effects that I'll provide.
* Build polished, easy-to-read captions.
* Export finished videos.
* Design thumbnails for YouTube.
* Cut vertical Shorts clips from each episode.
* Hand off a reusable CapCut template so future episodes go faster.
## What I'll Provide
I've already prepared everything you'll need, including:
* Finalized scripts for all five episodes.
* Concept art/direction for thumbnails.
* Prompts for AI-generated imagery.
* SEO-optimized titles and descriptions.
* A brand color palette and visual style guide.
* Detailed shot-by-shot breakdowns.
* A full step-by-step production process.
* Marked timestamps for Shorts cut-downs.
Please stick closely to this workflow so the series stays visually and tonally consistent.
## Deliverables
### Full-Length Episodes
Each episode runs roughly **4- 5minutes** and needs to include:
* AI-generated voice narration.
* AI-generated artwork/visuals.
* Full editing pass.
* Captions throughout.
* Music and sound design.
* Consistent signature transitions.
* Final 1080p (Full HD) export.
### Thumbnails
Each one should feature:
* A character placed against a themed backdrop.
* Episode title text.
* A badge indicating era/topic.
* Export as high-resolution PNG.
### YouTube Shorts
Two per episode, each requiring:
* A compelling moment pulled from the episode.
* Reframing into 9:16 vertical format.
* An attention-grabbing text headline.
* Export ready for vertical viewing.
### Reusable Template
A CapCut project template that streamlines the creation of future episodes.
## Skills You Should Have
* Editing experience in **Adobe Premiere Pro**.
* Working knowledge of **ElevenLabs**.
* Hands-on experience with **Midjourney, Leonardo AI**, or a similar AI art generator.
* Thumbnail design ability (Canva or similar).
* A grasp of what performs well on YouTube.
* Comfort following detailed, structured instructions.
* Dependable communication and follow-through.
## Timeline
I'd like the full set of videos completed within **2–3 weeks**.
## To Apply, Please Tell Me
1. What AI tools have you worked with for voice generation, image generation, and video editing?
2. Are you comfortable working within a detailed, pre-set production process?
3. Can you share one or two samples of similar YouTube or AI-assisted video work?
4. Which piece of this project lines up best with your strengths?
5. Would you be able to deliver a reusable CapCut template once the project wraps?
## Skills Test
Before finalizing my decision, shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a brief test, which involves:
* Creating one character pose that follows the provided style guide.
* Editing a **10–15 second** clip pulled from Episode 1.
* Adding captions, music, and the signature transition.
This is just to make sure you understand the workflow and can match the intended visual style — nothing more.
## Down the Road
If things go well, there's potential for continued collaboration on:
* Future episodes.
* Additional Shorts.
* More thumbnail work.
* Ongoing edits for new educational content.
I'm hoping to find someone dependable who can grow into a long-term creative partner as this series expands.
Our budget is of 3.5k .
