About CHAPTERS Group
CHAPTERS Group AG is a Hamburg-based holding company investing in 55+ mission-critical software companies across the DACH region, France, and the Czech Republic. Our companies deliver the digital solutions that keep the public sector and core industries running. What they do matters in daily life.
AI has rapidly disrupted the software industry, and we aim to lead that transformation across our portfolio. Central to this is the AI Core team: we build and operate a shared enterprise AI Hub used by companies across the group, and drive adoption through a network of AI Champions. Each portfolio company has one designated power user who leads AI enablement locally, runs training, and scales usage within their organisation.
Tasks
The Role
You work directly with our AI Transformation Catalyst at CHAPTERS Group, helping translate AI capabilities into real business value across 55+ portfolio companies. This is not a research or shadowing role. You take ownership of tasks, run your own analyses, document what works, and help shape how AI adoption spreads across the group. You work in a lean team, directly with senior stakeholders, and you are expected to contribute your own ideas.
What You Will Work On
Build AI Hub use cases for real problems in OpCos: custom models with the right knowledge, tools, and prompts, ready for Champions and their teams to use
Ship pilot use cases end to end: take an idea from a Champion, build it in the Hub, test it with the OpCo, and hand it over ready to use
Build enablement assets on the Hub: prompt libraries, knowledge bases, evaluation setups, and custom models that make it easier for new OpCos to get started
Scout emerging AI capabilities (models, agents, tools, integrations) and translate the useful ones into Hub configurations Champions can pick up
Research and document validated use cases in a structured format: problem, affected role, time saved, solution, and transferability across OpCos
Draft internal communications, playbooks, and best-practice guides that help Champions and OpCo managers get started quickly
Track adoption metrics across OpCos and prepare concise status updates for the AI Core team and leadership
Prepare materials for Champion onboarding, training workshops, and the monthly AI Champions League calls
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
Required
Currently enrolled in a Business, Economics, or related programme (Master's preferred)
AI native: you use AI tools daily as part of how you work, not as a novelty
Builder mindset with hands-on project experience: automations built in n8n, prototypes in Cursor or Lovable, or any project that shipped
Prior work experience through an internship, working student role, or your own venture, ideally in a startup or tech-adjacent environment
You translate technical AI capabilities into business language: you talk about time saved and cost avoided, not model architectures
Comfort with data: you can pull numbers from a spreadsheet, spot a trend, and explain what it means for a decision
Highly self-directed: you move forward with incomplete information, ask the right questions, and synthesize fast
Strong written communication in English (fluent) and German (fluent or native)
Bonus
Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG concepts, or custom AI model configuration
Experience using Claude Code or Codex
Background or coursework in change management, organisational development, or innovation management
Experience working in or with B2B software companies or vertical SaaS environments
Benefits
What You'll Get
Direct daily collaboration with the AI Transformation Catalyst: real sparring, not task assignment from a distance
Exposure to a live enterprise AI rollout across 55+ companies: strategy, enablement, and the messy middle in between
Access to the full CHAPTERS AI Hub: Anthropic, OpenAI, custom models, knowledge bases, and the tools that power real AI workflows
A front-row seat at the intersection of AI and business transformation in the DACH software market
Real ownership: your own workstreams, not just supporting tasks, and your name on deliverables
A network across portfolio companies, platform teams, and the central AI Core team
Space to experiment and build: if you have a better way to do something, say so
A stepping stone: strong performance opens doors to full-time roles in the AI Core team or across the portfolio
How to Apply
Send your CV and answer the following questions, no formal cover letter needed:
Why does CHAPTERS' model, a portfolio of specialized B2B software companies, appeal to you specifically?
What's your unfair advantage for this role?
We are looking forward to your application!
