About us
We’re a leading producer of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructionals with a large library of professional footage. We’re turning that library into a high volume of Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts using an AI-first workflow, and we need a sharp editor to finish and quality-check each reel. How the workflow works
We provide: the source footage, an AI-selected clip with exact timestamps, and the hook for each reel.
AI tools handle: the rough cut, auto-captions, silence removal, and first-pass vertical reframing.
You handle: turning that AI first draft into a polished, post-ready reel.
What you’ll do on each 30–60 second reel
Run the clip through AI tools (e.g., CapCut, Submagic, OpusClip, Descript, or your own stack) for a rough cut, captions, and reframing
Fix the framing where the AI loses the action, keeping both athletes and the key grips in shot
Correct caption errors, especially BJJ terms (de la Riva, kimura, berimbolo, etc.)
Add the supplied hook as on-screen text in the first 1–2 seconds
Add punch-in zooms or highlights on the key detail
Apply our caption, hook, and branding templates
Watch the final reel start to finish, check it, and export at 1080×1920
Time per reel: about 15–25 minutes once you’re set up.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with AI video tools (auto-captions, auto-reframe, AI clipping)
A portfolio of short-form vertical edits
A strong eye for detail: you catch what the AI gets wrong
Reliable 48-hour turnaround per batch and clear communication
Able to handle high volume (20+ reels per week)
Nice to have
Knowledge of BJJ or grappling
Experience building templates and repeatable editing workflows
Ideas for using AI to speed things up further
Pay
$15 per finished reel, including one round of minor revisions
Paid test batch of 3 reels to start
Steady volume for the right editor, with rate increases as quality and speed prove out
To apply, answer these:
Which AI video tools do you use, and for which steps?
Share 2–3 short-form vertical videos you edited, and say what AI did versus what you did by hand.
What mistakes do AI auto-reframe and auto-captions most often make, and how do you fix them?
How many reels per week can you deliver at a consistently high quality?
