AI Research System Architecture Assessment

I am seeking an experienced senior AI systems architect to independently assess an existing Python-based AI research and verification system.

The project already has a detailed V1.3 technical specification, existing source code and automated tests.

The objective is to build a reliable AI system that independently verifies research, identifies existing solutions, minimises unsupported conclusions and maintains auditable evidence.

I need an engineer to assess:

1. Whether the current architecture can realistically achieve these objectives.
2. Its most significant technical weaknesses.
3. Whether a better architecture or implementation approach exists.
4. What must be demonstrated through testing before further investment.

I am not seeking development work yet. I want an independent, evidence-based technical assessment, including an honest recommendation on whether to proceed or change direction.

Required: Senior experience in Python, LLM architecture, AI verification, retrieval systems and software engineering.
