AI-Enhanced Exam Web App

I need a responsive web application that serves timed, multiple-choice exams and enriches the testing experience with modern AI. The core test engine should manage user authentication, question banks, randomisation, timing and scoring. On top of that I want two smart layers:

• A text-based assistant powered by an engine such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT. During preparation (not while the clock is running), students should be able to open a side panel, ask clarifying questions, request explanations or walk through sample problems, all without leaving the platform.
• Personalised study recommendations generated from each student’s historical performance. After every attempt the system should analyse wrong answers, detect topic gaps and suggest targeted lessons, question sets or resources.

The primary scope is to get those pieces working end-to-end: front-end interface, secure back-end, database schema for questions and results, and AI integrations. You are free to choose a modern stack—React or Vue on the front, Node, Django or similar on the back—as long as the code is clean, documented and deployable to a standard cloud host.

Deliverables
• Fully functional web app with source code in a git repo
• API keys abstracted into environment variables
• Short setup guide and a walkthrough video showing an exam session, chat interaction and generated recommendations

Once this foundation is solid I may add voice assistance or cheat-detection modules, so designing with future extensions in mind is a plus.
