AI Automation Engineer & Python Instructor – Long-Term Mentorship

1. What am I hiring for?

A long-term, one-on-one AI Automation Engineering instructor and mentor—not someone to complete a software project for me.

2. What is the schedule and budget?

* 2–4 live, individual classes per week
* 50–60 minutes per class
* $3–$4 USD per completed class for the first five months
* California (Pacific) time zone
* Sundays and Wednesdays preferred, with other days negotiable
* Potential 4–5-month extension, with compensation renegotiated by mutual agreement

3. What is my experience level?

I am starting as a beginner. I want to learn to write, understand, debug, build, and deploy code independently.

4. What technologies should we use?

Follow my existing 28-week curriculum, including:

* Python, Git, GitHub, SQL, HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and webhooks
* n8n, Make, CRM integrations, and business automation
* OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, structured outputs, tool calling, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG
* Python-based AI agents, LangGraph where appropriate, and n8n-based agents
* FastAPI, Docker, deployment, security, testing, monitoring, and debugging

I do not require a particular vector database or LLM provider initially. The instructor should recommend appropriate tools as we progress.

5. Should we prioritize Python or n8n?

Both. Python is essential for developing genuine engineering skills. n8n and similar platforms are important for practical business automation. The goal is to understand when and how to combine them.

6. What projects will we build?

Realistic business systems, including lead management, CRM automation, customer communications, appointment workflows, reporting, and AI-assisted operations. My existing business, Apex EV Rescue, can provide practical examples using appropriately protected or sample data.

7. Are existing APIs, databases, or agent models already provided?

No predefined architecture is required. Part of the mentorship is learning how to design these systems from the beginning.

8. What is the final objective?

To become a job-ready AI Automation Engineer capable of independently developing, troubleshooting, deploying, and explaining production-oriented AI solutions, with a portfolio of completed projects.

9. How will payment work?

Through agreed Freelancer milestones covering completed lessons, subject to the platform’s payment and minimum milestone requirements. The displayed project amount is not a fee for a short, one-time development job.

10. What must applicants confirm?

Please confirm your acceptance of the lesson budget and schedule, your ability to teach beginners in clear spoken English, and your experience building and deploying actual AI automation systems. Include one or two examples of relevant work.

I will shortlist candidates for a practical introductory lesson before making a long-term commitment.

I’m looking for an experienced AI Automation Engineer who can serve as my long-term, one-on-one technical instructor and mentor.

My goal is to become a job-ready AI Automation / AI Solutions Engineer within approximately 7–8 months, starting as a beginner.

I already have a structured 28-week curriculum covering Python, APIs, JSON, Git/GitHub, SQL, n8n, Make, LLM APIs, RAG, AI agents, FastAPI, Docker, deployment, and real-world business automation projects.

I need 2–4 live, hands-on classes per week, each lasting 50–60 minutes. I will also practice independently seven days a week.

Budget: $3–$4 USD per class for the first five months. After that, we may mutually negotiate compensation and continue for another 4–5 months.

Candidates must have practical experience building AI automation systems, strong spoken English, reliable scheduling, and the ability to teach programming from the beginner level through advanced projects.

Please provide examples of your actual AI automation projects, your teaching experience, and your availability in Pacific Time. Sundays and Wednesdays are preferred.
