Help Us Explore AI-Augmented Brainstorming & Whiteboarding!
Budget: $30 | Fixed Price
We're working on a pretty interesting concept and would love to connect with someone who enjoys exploring new ideas, researching emerging technology, and thinking outside the box!
The idea is simple:
Imagine 5–8 people in a conference room conducting a traditional whiteboarding or brainstorming session.
Now imagine they have an open microphone or push-to-talk (PTT) microphone and a conversational AI assistant available throughout the session in addition to communicating with the AI via keyboard and mouse.
Participants can ask AI questions, challenge assumptions, explore different perspectives, conduct research on the fly, and even take pictures of the notes / docs / whiteboard and quickly upload them for AI to analyze.
We're interested in exploring how to make that entire experience more productive, creative, engaging, and effective. We already have strong cybersecurity expertise supporting our work, so cybersecurity, data protection, and security-related recommendations are outside the scope of this project.
What We'd Like to Explore
We're looking for someone to research, brainstorm, and develop a short, practical document addressing a few questions similar to:
Prep / Before the Session: Here are just a few questions we've been considering. How do we prepare and ground the AI with relevant information? How do we share those sources with participants and provide a little AI orientation beforehand? Could surveys, short quizzes, participant input, or AI-generated images help establish a common understanding, uncover different perspectives, and stimulate creative thinking before the session begins? How might we use AI to better understand participants' knowledge, expectations, and ideas in advance? What other creative preparation techniques could make the actual ideation / whiteboarding session more engaging and productive?
During the session: What are the most creative ways to involve conversational AI without interrupting the natural flow of collaboration? We want all participants to feel included and encouraged to speak up. Is recording, transcribing, and producing an animated recap a good idea or does that negatively impact participation?
Whiteboard capture: How can participants quickly photograph the whiteboard, upload it to AI, and use the feedback to stimulate additional thinking?
New ideas: What haven't we thought of yet? We especially welcome unconventional approaches!
The Deliverable
A short, easy-to-read Microsoft Word document (maximum 10 pages, 12-point font).
We're not looking for a PhD dissertation or an overly formal academic paper.
We'd love a combination of:
Interesting research findings and useful references or links.
Real-world examples and practical suggestions.
Creative ideas and recommendations we could actually experiment with.
A few questions or opportunities worth exploring further.
Feel free to include diagrams or images at the end if they help explain your ideas.
We care much more about the quality of your thinking than the number of pages you produce. Please clearly identify the sources behind factual or research-based claims.
You might be a researcher, project manager, facilitator, psychology expert, AI enthusiast, technology consultant, educator, or simply someone who loves exploring how people and technology can work better together.
Experience with collaborative workshops, brainstorming, project management, or conversational AI would be great, but we're open to different backgrounds.
We're especially interested in people who are curious, communicate well, enjoy collaborating, and actually look forward to participating in ideation and whiteboarding sessions rather than dreading them!
