Job Title

AI Animator / Video Creator Needed for Children’s YouTube Series – Potential Long-Term Work

Job Description

I am looking for an experienced AI video creator, animator and editor to help produce a new children’s animated video series.

The main character, visual concept and overall direction have already been created. For confidentiality reasons, I will not publish specific details about the character, appearance, storyline or brand within this advertisement.

Full reference artwork and project information will be provided to the successful freelancer once I am satisfied that they have the necessary experience and ability.

The initial project will be to produce a professional approximately 3-minute pilot episode.

If the pilot is successful, I intend to produce many further episodes, so I am ideally looking for someone with whom I can develop a long-term working relationship.

What I Need

I need someone capable of taking my existing character and concept and turning them into a polished children’s animated programme.

I am happy for the freelancer to use whatever professional AI generation, animation, voice, editing and post-production tools they believe will achieve the best result.

I am not looking for someone simply because they know how to generate individual AI video clips. I need someone who understands how to turn AI-generated material into a coherent, professional finished programme.

Character Consistency Is Extremely Important

I will provide reference artwork for the main character.

The character must remain virtually identical throughout the complete video and across future episodes.

This includes consistency of:

* Face and facial features
* Body shape and proportions
* Colours and markings
* Clothing/accessories where applicable
* Size and scale
* Overall animation style
* Personality and mannerisms

The AI must not randomly redesign or alter the character between scenes.

The character must also retain the correct anatomy shown in my original design. The AI must not invent additional limbs, hands, fingers or other physical features that do not belong to the character.

The original character design should not be modified or humanised unless I specifically request it.

If this develops into a long-running series, I need the character in later episodes to remain recognisable as exactly the same character established in the pilot.

Continuity Between AI-Generated Clips

This is one of the most important requirements.

I understand that modern AI video generation often involves creating multiple shorter clips and then combining them.

That is completely acceptable.

However, I do not want the finished programme to look like a collection of unrelated AI clips placed next to each other.

Where one clip continues directly into another, the transition should be as seamless as reasonably possible.

Continuity should be maintained across clips, including:

* Character appearance
* Character position
* Character movement
* Background/environment
* Props and objects
* Camera position
* Camera movement
* Lighting
* Animation style
* Other characters
* Voice
* Audio
* Dialogue
* Story progression

For example, if a character is walking, flying, talking or interacting with something when one generated sequence finishes, the following sequence should continue naturally rather than obviously resetting everything.

The objective is for the viewer to experience one continuous animated programme, without being distracted by the fact that individual sections may have been generated separately.

Good editing and post-production will therefore be extremely important.

Children’s Educational Content

The series will be aimed primarily at young children.

Episodes will combine entertainment, storytelling and simple educational/life lessons.

The content needs to be:

Warm, colourful, friendly, positive, engaging, entertaining, educational and easy for young children to understand.

Pacing is particularly important.

I do not want videos padded with unnecessary AI-generated dialogue simply to reach a particular duration.

Characters should get to the point and concentrate on the subject being taught or explored.

There should still be humour, personality, interaction and storytelling, but everything should serve a purpose.

The programme may also occasionally encourage the child watching to participate by answering simple questions or repeating words.

Further details regarding the educational content and storyline of the pilot will be provided privately to the selected freelancer.

Voice and Dialogue

The main character will have a specific voice style that will be explained privately.

Once that voice has been established, it needs to remain consistent throughout the complete episode and ideally throughout the future series.

I require:

* Clear and natural dialogue
* A child-friendly voice
* Consistent voice characteristics
* Appropriate pacing for young children
* Good audio quality
* Accurate timing
* Convincing mouth/beak/lip synchronisation where appropriate for the character

I do not want noticeably different voices appearing between AI-generated clips.

YouTube / YouTube Kids Requirements

The finished programme is intended for YouTube and potentially YouTube Kids, so the content and final video must be suitable for young children and family viewing.

The freelancer should create the programme with YouTube’s Made for Kids requirements and children’s content policies in mind.

The finished content must not contain inappropriate, frightening, violent, adult or otherwise unsuitable material.

Particular attention should also be paid to AI-generated abnormalities or disturbing imagery. Incorrect faces, limbs, anatomy, background characters or other strange AI artefacts should be corrected rather than included in the finished programme.

Commercial Rights and Monetisation

This project is intended to become a commercial, monetised YouTube channel and potentially a wider children’s brand.

It is therefore extremely important that the freelancer only uses tools and assets that allow the finished work to be used commercially.

This includes:

* AI-generated video
* AI-generated voices
* Music
* Sound effects
* Stock footage/assets
* Images
* Fonts
* Other third-party material

I do not want copyrighted music, characters, artwork or other third-party intellectual property included without appropriate commercial rights.

The freelancer should be able to confirm that the finished video can be commercially used and monetised by me without foreseeable copyright/licensing problems arising from the tools or assets they have chosen.

The finished video should contain no unwanted third-party watermarks or branding.

Final Video Delivery

I want a completely finished video that is ready for me to upload directly to YouTube.

I do not want to have to perform additional editing, synchronisation or file conversion myself.

The final delivery should preferably be:

16:9 landscape
1080p Full HD minimum
High-quality audio
MP4 / H.264 or another standard YouTube-compatible format
Approximately 3 minutes for the initial pilot
Fully edited and synchronised
No unwanted watermarks
Ready for direct YouTube upload

I would also like the freelancer to retain an organised production process so future episodes can reproduce the same character, voice and overall visual style.

First Project

The first project will be one approximately 3-minute pilot episode.

I will provide the successful applicant with:

* Character reference artwork
* Character information
* Voice requirements
* Episode concept
* Educational subject
* Overall creative direction

I am looking for someone who can take that information and handle the production rather than requiring me to manually direct every few seconds of animation.

Potential Long-Term Work

This is not intended to be a one-off project if the pilot is successful.

My intention is to develop a series of children’s videos featuring the same established character.

I therefore need a production method that is repeatable and scalable.

The character, voice and visual identity need to remain consistent as additional episodes are produced.

For the right freelancer, this could potentially become regular ongoing work producing multiple episodes.

What to Include With Your Application

Please provide:

1. Examples of your previous AI-generated animation/video work.
2. Examples demonstrating the same character maintained consistently across multiple scenes.
3. A brief explanation of how you prevent AI character appearance from changing between scenes.
4. An explanation of how you create smooth continuity between separately generated video clips.
5. Details of your experience producing children’s animation/content.
6. Whether you can maintain the same character voice across multiple episodes.
7. Whether you handle the complete process including animation, voice, sound, music and final editing.
8. Confirmation that your production method allows the finished video to be commercially used and monetised.
9. Your price for producing a finished approximately 3-minute pilot episode.
10. Your expected turnaround time for the pilot.
11. Your approximate price per 3-minute episode if this develops into regular ongoing work.

Important

Please do not apply simply because you have access to AI video-generation software.

I am looking for somebody who understands character consistency, animation, continuity, storytelling, voice production and professional video editing.

I need someone capable of taking multiple AI-generated elements and turning them into a polished children’s programme that looks deliberately produced rather than like a collection of random AI clips.

Specific information regarding the character, brand and pilot storyline will only be shared privately with applicants whose portfolios demonstrate that they are potentially suitable for the project.
