Project Title
Afro-Modern Loft Bachelor Pad: Thatch-Roofed Architectural Plans & 3D Design
Project Description
Looking for an experienced residential architect or 3D designer to convert concept design ideas into professional, buildable architectural drawings and 3D renderings for a modern double-volume bachelor's pad featuring a traditional thatched roof.
Scope of Work
Floor Plans: Detailed ground floor plan (featuring an open-plan kitchen, dining area, and lounge) and a mezzanine loft level layout (dedicated bedroom and home office space).
Roof & Structural Design: Steep-pitched thatched roof design (45 to 50 degrees) with exposed interior timber trusses and clerestory window integration.
Elevations & Sections: Cross-sectional and exterior elevation drawings highlighting high ceilings and natural eave overhangs for climate shading.
3D Visualizations: High-quality exterior and interior 3D renders combining modern industrial elements (black steel, glass, charcoal finishes) with organic thatch and timber textures.
Structural Guidelines: Basic framing specifications for a lightweight steel-and-timber mezzanine floor structure suitable for a 6m × 9m footprint.
Site & Plot Context
Plot Size: 40m × 25m total land area, allowing plenty of layout flexibility for outdoor integration and future expansion.
Aesthetic Blend: A fusion of contemporary industrial lines (floating wooden staircase with black steel railings, matte charcoal kitchen accents) and traditional organic thatch warmth.
Key Deliverables Required
Architectural Floor Plans (Ground & Loft Levels)
Thatch Roof Framing & Pitch Specifications (45°–50° gradient)
Roof and Wall Elevations with Window Placements
3D Renders (Interior & Exterior Views)
Mezzanine Structural Framing Outline (Steel/Timber mix)
To Apply
Please submit examples of your previous residential, loft, or regional vernacular architectural designs, along with your estimated timeline and fixed-price quote for this project package.
