I’m building a fast-turnaround workflow for my online store and need a set of easy-to-reuse mock-up files built in Affinity Photo (and, where helpful, Publisher) on Windows.
First priority is the GD001 range: white, black, antique cherry, light blue, light pink, charcoal and navy. Right behind that I’ll want to drop the same logic onto the Jh001 and WM201 garments plus a 10 oz mug, so please structure your layers with that future expansion in mind.
What matters most is a rock-solid warp and masking system. I want to be able to drag in any new design—logo, pattern, text, you name it—drop it onto a clearly labelled layer, and see it auto-conform to the folds or curves of the product without extra tweaking. Colour variations should swap with a single visibility toggle or colour overlay adjustment.
Deliverables
• One .afphoto file per GD001 colour, with smart layer (or its Affinity equivalent) ready for one-click artwork replacement
• A short read-me or screen-capture GIF showing the exact “drop-in, export” sequence so I can hand the files to my team without training headaches
Acceptance criteria
• Artwork warp aligns naturally to seams and curves at 100 % view
• Colour accuracy within sRGB tolerance for web display
• Files open error-free in Affinity Photo 2.x on Windows 11
If you already have a proven technique for mugs or the Jh001/WM201 lines, let me know; I’m happy to roll additional milestones straight after we nail the GD001 set
