TRUESEARCH IS HIRING | AERODYNAMICS EXPERT
TrueSearch HR Services is hiring an experienced Aerodynamics Expert for one of our clients to contribute to an AI training and engineering project focused on computational fluid dynamics, aerodynamic analysis, engineering simulations, and Python.
Role: Aerodynamics Expert
Pay: $80–$130/hour
Location: Global | Fully Remote
Engagement: Contractor | ~15 hours/week
Schedule: Flexible
Start: Immediate
What You’ll Work On:
• Solve and validate aerodynamic and fluid-dynamics problems
• Develop CFD models, computational domains, and meshes
• Define boundary conditions, solver settings, and fluid properties
• Run CFD workflows using CLI and programmatic tools
• Use Python for automation, simulations, parameter sweeps, and post-processing
• Analyze lift, drag, pressure, velocity, forces, and moments
• Diagnose mesh, convergence, turbulence-modeling, and numerical issues
• Conduct mesh-independence studies and validation
• Review AI-generated engineering solutions for physical and numerical accuracy
• Create reproducible engineering solutions and verification criteria
What We’re Looking For:
• MS/PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a relevant Mechanical Engineering specialization
OR
• BS in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with 1–2+ years of relevant aerodynamics experience
• Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics and applied aerodynamics
• Hands-on CFD/aerodynamic analysis experience
• Strong Python skills
• Experience with CLI, scripting, configuration-based, or programmatic engineering tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and validate CFD results
Relevant Tools:
Experience with OpenFOAM, SU2, Gmsh, FEniCSx, Elmer, CalculiX, SciPy, or equivalent programmatic engineering software is valuable.
Python experience with NumPy, SciPy, pandas, Matplotlib, Jupyter, solver APIs, or scientific libraries is also relevant.
Selection Process:
