I’m putting together a set of four complete practice sections for the Upper-Level ISEE and I need original, high-quality content that truly matches the exam’s feel.
Scope of the work
• Four separate reading-comprehension “tests,” each mirroring the official Upper-Level section in length, structure, and question style. However, the context must be Australian based and not American.
• A balanced mix of fiction and non-fiction passages in every test.
• Non-fiction topics must rotate through science & technology, history & politics, biography & memoir, and poetry so students see the full range of material they’ll face.
• Texts and questions must be written at an advanced difficulty level appropriate for grades 9-10.
• Provide a clean answer key and, for every question, a clear explanation that teaches why the correct answer is right and why each distractor is wrong.
Acceptance criteria
– Language, tone, and question stems mimic current ISEE wording conventions.
– Explanations are precise yet concise—no hand-waving or generic tips.
– All files delivered in an editable format (Google Docs or Word) plus a final PDF set for each test.
If you have experience crafting standardized-test materials and can hit the advanced reading level required, I’d love to see a short sample of your passage and question style when you bid.
