Adobe Publishing Automation Script - Enhanced Excel to PDF Integration

I have a proof-of-concept script that batch-places data from Excel/CSV into InDesign and exports it as a PDF, but I need it polished into a reliable, professional tool for seamless automation.

Current Setup:
• A short ExtendScript snippet (shown in the attached description) that loops through images, adds pages, places each photo, and exports a PDF.
• Finished InDesign templates that define page size, margins, paragraph styles, master pages, etc.

Updated Requirement:
1. Automate input: Enhance the current script to read directly from Excel/CSV files accurately and efficiently.
2. Professional output: Ensure automatic placement of data into corresponding design placeholders within the InDesign template without manual intervention.
3. Overflow handling: Dynamically add pages based on data overflow while maintaining consistent styles and layout.
4. Reliable performance: Test for errors, ensure smooth function during large-volume tasks.
5. Output automation: Produce press-ready PDF files in bulk and efficiently save them in designated folders without user prompts.
6. Basic User Interface: Add an interface that allows me to select files and customize basic options like folder destinations.

Deliverables:
• A polished .jsx or .js script with comments for ease of future updates.
• Instructions or tutorial for use/setup with InDesign.
