Acrylic Base Creation Tutoring

I want to master every phase of building a custom acrylic display base for my mineral collection and I need someone who can walk me through it live or over online video calls. I am starting from zero experience, so each session has to be truly step-by-step and beginner-friendly. Please note that I have the base acrylics, the end goal is to accurately mill these bases so that my minerals fit them.

What I expect us to cover
• 3D Capture of the mineral impression - I use Polycam on my iPhone to capture. Some photogrammetry knowledge would be preferred
• Designing the base – importing the 3D scan, adjusting the scale/dimensions, and translating the concept into simple CAD or vector files (Fusion 360, Blender).
• Cutting and shaping acrylic – I have a Genmitsu Cubiko CNC Mill at home which runs a GRBL controller

Format
We will meet over live video (Zoom, Teams, or similar) where you demonstrate each step and watch while I repeat it in my own workspace. After every call I would like a short written recap or annotated screenshots so I can practise between sessions.

Acceptance criteria
1. By the end of our coaching I will have produced one flawless acrylic base with beveled, optically clear edges that fit a mineral from my collection.
2. I can repeat the process independently using only the notes and recordings from our calls.
