I have a set of PDFs made up almost entirely of plain-text paragraphs. Your task is to re-type every word into a clean .txt file, preserving each heading and its related paragraph breaks exactly as seen on the page. No need to recreate every single line break—just mirror the logical structure so the text reads the same way it does in the original document.
Quality is crucial. I need the final plain-text file proofread as you go so it is free of typos, missing words, or stray characters that sometimes slip in when copying by eye. Consistency in spacing around headings matters, too, because I will be feeding the text into a script that relies on those breaks.
Deliverables
• One UTF-8 encoded plain-text (.txt) file containing the full re-typed content.
• A quick note flagging any illegible words or uncertainties so I can double-check the source.
Acceptance criteria
• Headings and paragraph breaks match the PDF.
• 100 % of the words in the source are present and correctly spelled.
• File opens cleanly in any standard text editor without extra formatting codes.
Once you finish, send the .txt file and I’ll verify against the original.
