Remote Recruitment is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.
Role overview
You'll keep supplier payments accurate and on time for a UK finance team, processing invoices and reconciling accounts each week.
Key responsibilities

Process supplier invoices accurately and on schedule

Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies

Reconcile supplier statements against the ledger

Prepare payment runs for approval

Respond to supplier queries about payment status

What you'll need

Experience with Sage or Xero

Experience processing invoices in an accounts payable role

Strong attention to detail with numbers

Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work

Comfort reconciling accounts against supplier statements

Nice to have

Experience with multi-currency invoicing

Familiarity with purchase order systems

Prior remote finance support experience
