Own the day-to-day accounts for a small Australian business, fully remote from the Philippines.
If you like being trusted to run your own patch, this role is yours to shape. You will keep the books accurate in Xero, own accounts payable and receivable, and work closely with a manager who relies on you to get on with it.

What you’ll do
Book and reconcile in Xero: contractor, payroller and vendor invoices, plus bank and account reconciliations
Own AP and AR: issue placement invoices, follow up debtors and keep aged receivables under control
Prepare month-end and quarter-end files and monthly budget-vs-actual and KPI packs for the CFO
Chase missing timesheets, information and approvals until they’re resolved
Support the external payroll provider with pay run preparation and payroll tax lodgements
Look after contracts, licence and insurance renewals and document control
Help with people admin such as onboarding, probation and appraisal scheduling and leave tracking (a smaller part of the role)
Document finance processes as you go, so the team can rely on them
What you bring
Hands-on Xero experience with Australian finance work, including independent bank reconciliations, AP/AR and month-end reporting
A solid understanding of AP and AR, including following up overdue payments
Experience in a small business and a self-starter attitude
People admin experience
Great to have
Australian payroll exposure
Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
Advanced Excel
