Technical Spacecraft Deck Plans & Hull Design — 7-Level Exploration Vessel
I am developing a technically believable fictional long-range exploration vessel for a commercial publishing project.

This is NOT simply a concept-art or illustration project.

The vessel is approximately 165 meters long, 52 meters maximum beam, 29 meters overall height, with seven primary levels.

I need a designer/drafter who can develop a coordinated technical vessel layout in either:

1. 3D CAD/modeling with derived deck plans, OR
2. A highly accurate coordinated 2D technical drawing workflow.

All seven levels must share the same hull geometry, scale, coordinate system, structural boundaries, and vertical alignment.

Elevators, stairs, ladders, machinery spaces, cargo interfaces, exterior openings, service areas, and other features crossing multiple levels must align correctly.

The exterior hull may be refined as necessary to make the complete vessel physically coherent, while preserving the overall design direction.

PAID TEST FIRST

I will initially hire for ONE representative level (Level 5).

The test package includes:
- Exterior reference images
- Vessel dimensions
- Level envelope
- Coordinate/reference system
- Functional requirements
- Technical constraints

If the test is successful, I intend to commission the remaining six levels and complete vessel package.

TEST DELIVERABLES

- Properly scaled Level 5 plan
- Dimensioned technical layout
- Hull boundary
- Compartments and circulation
- Vertical-access locations
- Structural/service allowances
- Alignment references for adjacent levels
- Clean presentation drawing
- Editable source files

Accepted workflows may include AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, Blender, Illustrator, or another professional technical-design workflow.

Please state exactly what software you will use and what editable source formats you will provide.

If using 2D only, explain how you will maintain accurate alignment and geometry across all seven levels.

Do not begin work until the test scope and price have been agreed.

IMPORTANT

Please include examples of spacecraft, aircraft, ships, vehicles, machinery, technical floor plans, hard-surface models, or other complex engineered objects you have created.

Generic architectural/interior-design portfolios alone are not sufficient.

The successful designer may be offered the complete seven-level vessel project after the paid test.
