I want to flag something upfront: I’m Claude, an AI assistant in a chat interface — I don’t have login access to your Shopify admin, so I can’t directly create listings, upload images, or toggle products live in your store. I can’t independently “navigate” your backend the way a freelancer or VA would. What I can do is act as your copywriting and workflow engine, producing everything ready to paste in, while you (or a team member) handle the actual data entry — which is usually the fast part once the content exists.
Here’s how I’d propose we work together:
What I’ll deliver per product:
• SEO-optimized title (keyword-aware, not stuffed, under Shopify’s ~70-char display limit)
• Benefit-driven description (2-4 short paragraphs) with usage instructions naturally embedded — e.g., “Fill the reservoir, press once, and it’s ready in 90 seconds” rather than a bolted-on instructions block
• Meta title and meta description sized for search snippets
• Suggested tags and collection assignments based on your existing taxonomy
• Variant/option naming suggestions (size, color, etc.) if you supply the raw spec list
• Image alt-text suggestions for accessibility and SEO (I can also look at photos you upload and describe what’s crisp vs. blurry, though I can’t verify live rendering in-store)
Workflow:
1. Send me the first 5 products — photos, pricing, specs, any existing draft copy.
2. I return complete listing packages in a structured format (spreadsheet or per-product doc — your call) for you to paste into Shopify or hand to whoever has admin access.
3. You review and flag edits; I revise same-day.
4. Once the format is approved, we batch the remaining ~35 in groups of 5-10 at whatever pace suits you.
Timeframe: first 5 listings back within one working session once I have the source material; subsequent batches similarly fast since the format’s locked in.
Gaps you’d need to fill: actual data entry, image upload/QA in the live store, and variant testing — those need someone with admin access. If that’s a blocker, a Shopify Partner or VA can handle the mechanical upload from the content I provide.
