I'm seeking an experienced 3D designer to review, repair, and optimize my 3D design files for 3D printing. The current files are in FBX format and need significant work.
• Mesh Repair: Identify and correct mesh errors, including holes, non-manifold geometry, intersecting surfaces, and defective polygons.
• File Size Optimization: Reduce polygon count and overall file size while preserving essential geometric details and surface quality.
• Surface Enhancement: Smooth and refine uneven or distorted surfaces to achieve improved geometry and a high-quality final finish.
• Wall Thickness Correction: Inspect and adjust wall thicknesses to meet 3D printing requirements and ensure structural integrity (minimum wall thickness - 1.2mm).
• Model Splitting: Split the 3D model into suitable sections based on printer build volume
{FDM printer - 20 x 20 x 25 cm, Resin printer - 20 x 10 x 20 cm, SLS printer - 32 x 32 x 60 cm (L x B x H)}, assembly requirements, and fabrication considerations.
• Assembly Preparation: Develop appropriate joining interfaces and alignment features for accurate assembly of the printed sections. Small structures to be designed as plug-in part and the necessary features to be made on base model.
• Final File Preparation: Deliver optimized, watertight, and print-ready 3D files in STL format.
