3D Laser Scan to Revit Model

I need a full 3D laser scan of a friends three-bedroom house and surrounding plot. The point cloud must cover every internal room, the complete exterior envelope, plus the garden and immediate site so I can prepare accurate drawings for planning and building approval. I will then use the point cloud to creat a 3D Revit model to add to my portfolio.
Level of detail
I expect ceilings, stair flights, balustrades, fixed joinery, chimney breasts, and other permanent architectural features to be captured. Fixtures, finishes, and services are not necessary beyond what is required for an architect’s set of plans and elevations.
Workflow
A site visit will be required to gather the scan data. Leica, Faro, or similar LiDAR equipment is acceptable, and processing through Autodesk ReCap or equivalent is fine as long as the resulting cloud imports cleanly into Revit 2026 or later. Please keep your scan stations dense enough to minimise shadow areas—especially under stairs and along roof eaves.
Deliverables
• Registered point-cloud file (RCP/RCS or E57)
• Native Revit 2026 (.rvt) model with levels, grids, and views organised
• Exported DWG/PDF plans, sections, and elevations suitable for submission to local authority
Acceptance criteria
The model will be checked against site dimensions at three random points per floor; tolerance must be within ±10 mm. Exterior ground levels should tie back to the garden scan so contour lines generate correctly in Revit’s toposurface tool.
Timing
I’d like scanning completed within two weeks of award. Let me know in your message which scanner you intend to use and a brief outline of your QA process so I can lock in dates quickly.
