About the project
We’re creating animated videos for 800+ gym exercises, using one consistent 3D character and gym equipment. We’re looking for a freelancer or small team to handle the full project, and we’d like your suggestion on the best way to build it.
Scope
One rigged 3D character (style to be discussed)
Gym equipment: barbell, dumbbells, benches, cables, machines, etc. Existing or purchased models are fine.
Animations for 800+ exercises with correct form and natural movement (we’ll share the exercise list)
Rendered videos for each exercise (angles and format to be discussed)
All source files at the end
About the exercises
Many exercises are small variations of the same basic movement, such as a different grip, stance, bench angle or equipment. We expect a lot of the work to be reusable across exercises.
What matters to us
Correct, consistent exercise form across the library
A cost-effective approach that takes advantage of the shared movements
Being able to add new exercises later
We’ve looked at options like reusable movement templates, AI motion capture and physics-assisted tools, but we’re open to whatever approach you think works best.
How we’d like to start
A short paid trial with a few exercises, then the rest in milestones. Details to be discussed.
To apply, please share:
Relevant portfolio (character animation, rigging, body mechanics)
How you’d approach a library of this size
Rough timeline and cost estimate
Your availability
