I’m building a custom head-light system for a car/SUV that must pan a full 360° and tilt up and down on command from simple dash-mounted push-buttons. What I need from you is the complete mechanical design as well as guidance on every component required to turn the concept into a working unit that can be bolted onto the vehicle and wired into its 12 V electrical system.

The job covers:
• Detailed CAD models and drawings for the rotating housing, tilt mechanism, bearings or slewing ring, waterproof seals and mounting brackets that will survive road vibration and weather.
• Selection of compact DC gear-motors or servos sized for quiet, smooth motion, plus limit-switch or encoder integration so the light always knows its position.
• A straightforward push-button control circuit (no microcontroller is fine, relay logic or simple driver boards are acceptable) including wiring diagram, connector spec and recommended fuse ratings.
• A bill of materials with part numbers, supplier links and estimated costs so I can source everything locally or online.
• Assembly notes that highlight critical tolerances, lubrication points, and any alignment steps needed to maintain beam accuracy.

Design constraints: keep the overall package small enough to mount where a standard headlight would sit, ensure IP-rated protection against dust and splash, and allow quick manual override in case of electrical failure.

Once I have the files and BOM I’ll prototype the unit; your support during initial testing to tweak gear ratios or control logic will be greatly appreciated. If you’ve engineered pan-tilt mechanisms, automotive lighting, or similar rugged electromechanical assemblies before, I’d love to see examples.
