Selekt Audio is looking for vocalists we can work with regularly.
This is a small paid project designed to help us find talented and reliable vocalists for an ongoing working relationship. If we like your recordings, creativity, audio quality, and communication, we may invite you to record additional vocal loops, product demonstrations, sample packs, and other paid projects for Selekt Audio in the future.
We are not only trying to fill this one project. We want to build a dependable group of vocalists we can return to whenever we need new vocal content. Completing this project successfully could lead to frequent paid work with us.
For this first project, I’m hiring one vocalist to record 10 short, original sung vocal loops for Selekt Audio within one day.
These recordings WILL be added to Selekt Audio’s downloadable vocal-loop library. Selekt users will be able to download and license them for use in songs, beats, videos, films, video games, podcasts, advertisements, and other creative projects.
The vocals will also be used to test and demonstrate Selekt Audio’s Vocal Harmony Generator and other audio-processing tools.
You do not need to be a professional singer or own expensive studio equipment. A phone, USB microphone, or basic home-recording setup is acceptable if you can record clear vocals in a quiet room without clipping or heavy background noise. Character, emotion, reliability, and variety are more important than perfect singing.
DELIVERABLES
- 10 separate vocal recordings
- Approximately 8–15 seconds per recording
- One recording for each selected vocal idea
- Completely original melodies that do not copy or closely resemble existing songs
- Vocals only—no instrumental or audible metronome
- Completely dry—no reverb, delay, compression, pitch correction, harmonies, doubling, or other effects
- Record in a quiet space with no clipping or excessive background noise
- Leave approximately half a second of silence before and after each performance
- WAV files are preferred; high-quality M4A files are acceptable
- Name each file using its corresponding number
- If possible, sing to a click through headphones and provide the BPM and approximate key
- Please include some held notes and sustained vowel sounds so the vocals can be properly tested with harmony processing
IMPORTANT: THE PROVIDED VOCAL LINES ARE OPTIONAL
The ten lines below are creative ideas, not required scripts. You may sing them as written, rewrite them, or provide your own completely original lyrics of approximately the same length.
Only record words and performances that you are comfortable having permanently associated with your recorded voice and commercially used by Selekt Audio. After payment, Selekt Audio may edit, loop, chop, tune, harmonize, pitch-shift, time-shift, remix, demonstrate, distribute, sell, and license the submitted recordings to users for incorporation into music, videos, films, games, advertisements, software, and other projects.
Please review and approve every lyric you choose to record before delivering it. Do not sing anything personal, private, offensive, political, religious, defamatory, or otherwise sensitive unless you are completely comfortable granting Selekt Audio the usage rights described in this project.
These rights apply only to the specific recordings you deliver for this project. Selekt Audio will not own your name, identity, general voice, or unrelated recordings and will not falsely claim that you endorse an unrelated product, person, or message.

BUDGET AND DEADLINE
- Fixed payment: $30 total
- Deadline: All 10 recordings must be delivered within one day of being hired
- Please only apply if you are available to begin immediately
- One revision is included if a file is clipped, noisy, incomplete, missing, or technically unusable
- Payment will be released after all 10 accepted recordings are delivered
- Strong work may lead to additional paid recording projects and an ongoing relationship with Selekt Audio
RIGHTS AND OWNERSHIP
This is a full-rights, exclusive commission. The selected vocalist must sign a short copyright assignment and performer release before recording.
Once the agreed payment is made, Selekt Audio will own all rights in the submitted lyrics, melodies, performances, and sound recordings.
Selekt Audio may:
- Edit, crop, loop, chop, tune, harmonize, pitch-shift, time-shift, remix, combine, and otherwise process the recordings
- Use them for product development, testing, demonstrations, advertising, and promotional content
- Add them to the Selekt Audio downloadable vocal-loop library
- Sell, distribute, license, and sublicense them
- Allow Selekt users to incorporate them into commercial and noncommercial music, videos, films, games, podcasts, software, advertisements, and other projects
- Process them using audio software and AI-assisted audio tools
The recordings will not be used to create a general-purpose clone of the vocalist’s identity or to falsely imply that the vocalist endorses an unrelated person, company, product, or message.
The $30 payment is complete compensation for this first project. There will be no future royalties, residuals, licensing fees, approval requirements, or required credit for these 10 recordings.
Any future projects will be offered and paid for separately.
After payment, the vocalist may not resell, redistribute, relicense, or claim ownership of the delivered recordings. The recordings must never be registered with YouTube Content ID or another automated copyright-claiming or audio-fingerprinting system.
