2D/3D Kitchen Drafting Partner

I’m looking for someone who can slip straight into my workflow and turn kitchen & joinery concepts into fully documented construction packages. You’ll be preparing dimensioned plans, elevations, sections and occasional 3D views that a cabinetmaker can send straight to the floor.

Experience with auto as/palletCAD is a bonus so fluency in either (or both) is essential for smooth file exchange. If you prefer to rough-out ideas in SketchUp or Revit first, that’s fine as long as the final deliverables arrive in clean, organised DWG/DXF format.

Most of the projects follow Australian cabinetry standards—shared panels, 16 mm carcasses, adjustable kick heights etc.—so prior experience with local hardware and clearances will give you a head start. When that’s missing, solid drafting fundamentals and the ability to absorb my reference packs quickly will work just as well.

Here’s how we’ll collaborate: I provide site measurements, appliance schedules and a design brief; you return a set of shop drawings ready for CNC, plus an itemised parts list when requested. Turn-around is typically three to five days per kitchen, and there’s a steady pipeline waiting for the right drafter.

When you respond, focus on your relevant experience—particularly any built-in or custom joinery you’ve detailed in AutoCAD or PalletCAD. A couple of drawing samples that show your annotation style and level of detail will help me gauge fit immediately.
