I have a series of detailed 2-dimensional mechanical drawings that now need to be transformed into fully manufacturable 3D models for prototype development. Your task is to interpret the existing drawings, add any missing design detail, and deliver clean STL files that my manufacturing team can send straight to the printers/CNC shop.
Accuracy is critical, yet I also expect there will be a round or two of tweaks once the first virtual assembly is checked, so please be comfortable making iterative adjustments until the design is truly production-ready. Throughout the project every file, screenshot, and message you exchange with me is strictly confidential under a non-disclosure, non-publication requirement.
Key deliverables
• Final STL files for each part and full assembly, ready for prototype manufacturing
• Editable source file in your native CAD platform (SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar)
• A concise revision log so we both know what changed at each step
I’ll supply the 2D drawings and any reference photos as soon as we start. Let me know your preferred software, expected turnaround time per iteration, and any questions you have about tolerances or material assumptions, and we can get moving right away.
