No AI. I’m an artist and a writer, I can tell. I immediately get rid of any bids that I suspect have used AI in projects before or have used it in their proposal.
I’m looking for a 2D character animator for two videos I’m wanting to post on my YouTube, (with credits, of course). One will be posted relatively soon, the other will be unlisted until I’m actually able to reveal it to potential and active readers.
There may be a delay in starting to project depending on costs, but I won’t negotiate lowering price if I choose you. It just might be a while before I get the money to pay you.
ANYWAY, now everything about the projects. The first video (v1) is less than 30 seconds, the second one (v2) is about 3 minutes.
V1 is a small clip of a song and is the one that won’t be posted right away, due to the lore reveal. (More can be explained.) It has three named characters and two other characters that can be faceless. This one will have two settings, but I’m not looking for a lot of detail.
V2 is a full song. Specially, “Too Much” by Dove Cameron. It has four named characters and two faceless characters. This video also won’t have a background for most of it, but will have vague backgrounds at some parts. Like the other one, not looking for a lot of detail as far as backgrounds go.
Character Designs-
I am very particular about how my characters look. Will I make you change minuscule details? Probably not, but it’s largely a feeling. If I don’t think a character looks like how I think they should look in your style, I’ll tell you and we’d work to fix it. I have a vivid imagination on what they look like, besides faces, which is largely why I don’t often draw my characters myself. BUT, I can provide irl references, or I can tell you about them and you can give me some ideas for how they’d look in your style. (I’d prefer the second one, but it’s up to you.)
What style am I looking for? Semi-realism. I have a hard time picturing my characters as cartoonish.
When we actually start working on the projects, you can pick which to start with (V1 or V2), then we can get into it. I will provide storyboards with as much detail I can possibly fit in them, because I have a vivid imagination for these videos and am just dying to get them out.
I think that’s all of it. If you have any questions, feel free to use the discussion or ask it in your proposal. :)
