I need a clear, well-organized 2D master layout for a mixed-use apartment complex that blends comfortable residential living with street-level retail shops. The building will rise between three and five storeys, so the drawing should show how vertical circulation (stairs, lifts) connects the ground-floor commercial frontage to the upper-floor apartments without disrupting either function.
Key points to address
• Ground floor: allocate visible, accessible retail shop units along the main façade, complete with service access and delivery zones.
• Upper floors: arrange efficient apartment clusters (studio to two-bedroom mix is fine) with logical corridor flow, natural light considerations, and clearly marked emergency exits.
• Shared cores: indicate all staircases, lifts, and utility shafts so that stacking works from ground to roof.
• Site outline: place entrances, loading bays, refuse areas, and a concise legend so the drawing reads at a glance.
Deliverables
1. Scaled 2D plan(s) in DWG and PDF, one sheet per floor plus one overall key plan.
2. A brief note (PDF or DOC) explaining spatial ratios—approximate residential vs. commercial square footage—and any code assumptions you made.
3. Source file kept clean and layer-organised for easy edits.
Acceptance criteria
• Retail frontage depth and width annotated.
• Apartment counts and sizes labelled.
• Circulation meets typical 1.5 m corridor minimums and 1:12 ramp grades where shown.
• All text legible at 1:100 print scale.
If you have questions on local codes or need a site context sketch, just let me know and I’ll supply it right away.
