Strategic Finance & Operations Manager (Part‑Time, ~20 hours/week)
Salary: $3,500–$4,500 USD/month
Remote – LATAM-based candidates only
TalentCross is partnering with US-based clients to hire a Strategic Finance & Operations Manager (Part‑Time, ~20 hours/week). This remote contractor role is designed for LATAM professionals who want to work with fast-growing US companies while maintaining flexible hours.
About the Client
Our client is a fast-growing SaaS and marketplace platform in the convenience retail industry. They support major retail chains and thousands of independent operators with digital ordering, delivery, and retail data infrastructure. With multiple revenue models (subscriptions, revenue-share, GMV-based programs, and project work), they process thousands of billing, payout, and collections items monthly — much of which is still manual today. This is the challenge you'll help solve.
About the Role
You will combine hands-on finance operations with building better processes and automation. Half of your work will be operational — billing, collections, payouts, reconciliations, and resolving disputes. The other half will focus on automation, systems building, and analysis to eliminate manual work and provide clear answers for leadership.
Responsibilities
Billing, collections, and partner payouts
Own invoicing, collections, failed payments, and account suspension
Manage revenue-share and partner payout processing, resolve discrepancies end to end
Reconcile revenue and payouts across Stripe, ACH, Bill.com, partner reports, and internal systems
Improve cash collection and provide leadership with dependable AR view
Replace manual workflows with systems using SQL, Python, APIs, and automation tools
Build exception logic, documentation, and data-quality standards
Pull and clean data to answer business questions
Prepare analysis for partner negotiations, pricing, and customer economics
Build dashboards for ARR, ARPU, gross margin, collections, cash, burn, and runway
Forecast subscription, revenue-share, GMV-based, and project revenue
Prepare monthly leadership and board reporting materials
Requirements
3–6 years in strategic finance, FP&A, finance operations, or business operations
Working SQL skills to access data independently
Real automation experience (Python, APIs, AI-enabled tooling)
Strong financial modeling in Excel/Google Sheets
Comfort with messy source data and resolving inconsistencies
Startup experience (Seed–Series B) in SaaS, marketplace, ecommerce, delivery, logistics, or fintech
Strong ownership, urgency, and ability to communicate clearly
Helpful but not required: revenue-share models, Stripe, Bill.com, QuickBooks, NetSuite, BI tools, US GAAP
Why Join Us
Work directly with leadership, gain visibility into multi-revenue-model businesses, and enjoy the freedom to rebuild finance and operations systems. This is a fully remote opportunity for LATAM talent, part‑time (~20 hours/week), with overlap in US business hours.
