Project overview
StepForth is looking for a Lead Project Manager with some experience and the high energy required to keep on top of two rapidly growing businesses. StepForth has been in business since 1997 and is an internationally respected digital marketing agency. Additionally, StepForth shares space, talent, and works closely with our sister company First Dentist Marketing which is a North American-focused digital marketing agency for dentists. As our Project Manager, you will be playing a key role in leading our team from contract to completion. In addition to conducting day-to-day administrative support, you will be responsible for a host of duties that could include: contract review and management, office organization, email management, client relations, and customer retention management, and business planning with the CEO. You will also be assisting our experienced team with a broad range of tasks such as writing marketing copy to proofreading, researching, and more. Expectations: The Lead Project Manager (LPM) will need to stay abreast of the services and technologies being used to provide results to clientele; training will be provided as needed by StepForth Staff. With this key knowledge in tow, the LPM is expected to control risk and minimize uncertainty while making the decisions required to successfully manage individual projects. Roles and Responsibilities: The role of the LPM encompasses many activities including: •Project Setup: Liaising with applicable executive staff to plan/review the activities (and subsequent tasks) required for each project; • Project Software Management: Setting up the projects within Teamwork and delegating the tasks to appropriate personnel with start and due dates (as necessary); •Resource Management: keeping in tune with the workloads of all staff to ensure they are not overtasked thereby ensuring high-quality output; •Reporting: Reporting any concerns, questions, suggestions, etc. to the CEO or applicable executives; •Quality assurance: monitoring quality through the LPM’s own interpretation and the qualified assistance of key StepForth personnel; •Documentation: documenting results, processes, and systematizing repetitious activities whenever possible; and •Client Relations: arranging regular meetings with clients with yourself and/or key personnel to build and maintain clear communications and a healthy client-to-vendor service relationship. Job requirements: •Project and/or account management experience (keep our offsite staff and us in line!); •Customer service experience Experienced Windows user; •Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills; •Strong English writing skills; • Self-starter; •Ability to multitask and attention to detail; and •A sense of humor! The following are not required, but they will give you a leg up on the training process: •General website marketing experience; •WordPress knowledge; •Knowledge of adobe suite; •Teamwork project management experience; •Prior marketing agency experience.
