Project overview
Reports To: Graphic Design Manager Scope : Under minimal supervision, the Graphic Design Associate is responsible for assisting in creating, developing, and maintaining labels and literature for the company’s product line and private branding customers. Essential Duties: Design, edit, and/or revise all labels for all accounts Design, edit, and/or revise literature, promotional pieces, and product data sheet information for all accounts Communicate with R&D and Marketing to obtain information for labels and marketing material Maintain and organize all computer files Responsible for working with vendors to order literature from printer Responsible for maintaining a log book for all literature orders Deliver literature orders to shipping Responsible for taking inventory once a week on the following, QLS printer blank labels, QLS printer ribbons, and QLS ink cartridges Assist with other projects or duties as assigned Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred or a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Graphic design Working knowledge of Adobe programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Previous experience in production is strongly preferred Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and office equipment (multi-media printers, copier, fax, etc.) is required Knowledge of Macintosh Operating Systems Must maintain a clean work environment and follow all safety and quality policies Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to think and act cross-functionally Good organizational skills Work individually or with a team Maintain neat and accurate records Pay close attention to detail and follow instructions closely Excellent work history, attendance, initiative and drive to succeed Must be able to lift 20-30 lbs. occasionally Perform in a manner consistent with Company Vision/Mission Statement and Core Values Experience: graphic design: 2 years (Preferred) Education: Associate (Required)
