The company is driven by one founding principle: We’re not just telling stories, we’re changing lives. BIG PICTURE: We are searching for a Video Editor to help us create short cinematic viral videos! We have an awesome team of screenwriters, casting associates, directors and shooters so this role would require performing all the technical aspects of editing a film. This position often requires working long hours including nights and weekends. Since we are a mission-led company and all of the content we create inspires people, the right candidate will find the long hours to be exciting and highly satisfying! MUST be able to work 9am-6pm pst. HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME: Editing narrative shorts in a creative way to help build emotion, increase tension and deliver greater payoff of the message for the audience Editing and updating old videos with new branding Creating compilation videos Adjusting audio to provide the best quality possible Adding subtitles and branding to all videos and ensuring all final files are complete and organized WHAT YOU HAVE: 2 Years experience editing Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc. Moderate level experience with After Effects Demonstrated video editing ability with a strong portfolio Ability to work in a fast paced environment on a wide variety of projects Ability to learn quickly and is a team player Skilled in handling quick output without losing quality Experience working with audio files to get acceptable audio
